dlshow
Hi. Before I ask my question, I know this has been covered in several topics, but sometimes the answers vairy slightly, so I am going to ask my version of the question... I want to record audio off my mixing desk onto the High-MD. It will be an analouge recording in real time on to the High-MD. Can I then take this recording and upload it in to the computer (i.e. not record it in to the computer in realtime) so I can edit it with various applications, or burn it to CD. I gather you cant from other topics, that it can only be played in Sonic Stage. If not - or that it can only be played back in Sonic Stage - is there anyway around this? or will there be away around it shortly? As this is really the only reason I'd be going for hi-md. Thanks, David
Ppk3000
Sony's WAV utility coming in fall will unprotect analog recordings, so yes, you should be able to extract line-in recordings back to PCM WAV data.

jadeclaw
Or something like that. Suggestion: Watch this Forum or the minidisc.org main page, that's the places, you will know it first.
