sonny
I compared the sound quality between the MZ-NH600D and MZ-N510CK. The sound quality for the 510CK was actually better since the bass and treble bass can be increased. The DSP on the 510CK sounds much better than that of the NH600D six equalizers. Is there an option where the bass and treble bass can be increased for the NH600D?
skyther
The equalizer does change the bass and treble. Low frequencies = bass, high freqs = treble. Both do the same job, just that the equalizer does it with more tweaking flexibility, but I'll agree that units with the 8 step bass + treble settings sound better than those with EQs in general. BTW, Type-S = decoding DSP, has nothing to do with equalizers.
