dmistry2004
Hi, I just want to know if there is any sort of hack that would make the Sony MZ-N10 louder. The UK version is 2mw + 2mw, while the USA version is 5mw + 5mw. Also because of this, the MZ-N10 lacks bass with the MDR-E838 earphones that come supplied, so please help me. Cheers
mr.java
I think you are stuck with the 2mw + 2mw. That is what they put on the main board. You could use a seperate headphone amp, but I don't think you can magicaly up the power of the built in amp. If there is a hack I have not seen it in the fourms. RichM
Also because of this, the MZ-N10 lacks bass with the MDR-E838 earphones that come supplied, so please help me. Stock earphones, ie MDR-E838 in this case, are generally pretty bad (understatement), and are really for people who don't know any better. Some replacements are in order, the MDR-EX71s sound pretty good and are readily available in the UK (from Amazon.co.uk for example).
