rs4425
I wasn't thinking when I tried to UPLOAD sound clips from my Sharp 420 MD into my PC using the USB. Instead of an error message, it went through the motions like it was downloading, but when I didn't see anything in the library, I knew it was gone. Does it store it on the hard drive anywhere? Can i retrieve it? steve
jadeclaw
If it has been deleted from the MD, it no longer exists. The 420 CAN NOT upload, what you have seen, is the old NetMD-check-in. Old NetMD-recorder have no hardware provisions to transfer the music-data back to the PC.
rs4425
Thanks for the reply Jadeclaw. I can live without the audio but it bugs me that , instead of performing the function, BEATJAM would have said "CAN NOT DO THIS!".. Instead, it just sucked all the audio out of the MD. See, many of the audio clips were created ON THE PC, so I thought they could be uploaded. I have learned a lesson today. steve
