electron
I have here a Sony MZ-R700 Minidisc recorder with the original NiCd Battery which is going to get weak and has to be replaced. In fact i am thinking of buying a NiMH Battery because of its higher capacity. I.e. 1800mAh but not the 700mAh of the original Cell. Is this possible, especially looking at the built in charging circuit. I mean is it possible to charge this battery inside the Unit? Or would it be better to look for an old-fashioned 700mAh NiCd Battery? Thank You, Christian
aeriyn
It's definitely okay to use it, but I'm not sure if it's okay to charge it. Why not just get one of those bundles of NiMH AA's with charger? Not that expensive.
electron
Yes, You are sure. it seams to be the best way to get such a set of NiMH Batteries including the correct charger. Chris
