Hi,

These threads are usually customary at such forums, so I'm starting one. Please post a picture of your portable/home/etc MD equipments and any other audio equipments if you feel the need. I look forward to your contributions.

Everything I have is in my sig.

I do have Beyer DT770's + a mixer; I shall take pictures of them soon.

Here are my minidisc units.

My N510 was my first MD recorder. I still use it to title tracks in SimpleBurner

My E710 came next, it's still my main travel unit. It's so slim and light.

I got the R50 to see what the fuss was all about. I admit that the line out is stellar, but this recorder really does little for me overall.

My newest, and best sounding unit. I just love this DR480 so much, it's easliy one of the best sounding portables I've ever used.

I dunno mate, I'll probably be studying the unit in depth before I do a review/pictorial, although don't be surprised if I let something slip out initally. This won't be a review similiar to any that I've done before - I want this to have more depth and better pictures [i.e. dial-up modems would explode].

I appreciate the kind words, nonetheless. Although I will say Audiocubes will not be appreciating my review once this is all over! rolleyes.gif

Here's my little set-up at home where I do my music. It's amazing how neat things look when you have a little tidy up...

Slightly out of date, as a couple of days ago I put in a wooden MD rack behind where the lamp is. The MD rack is actually made out of a 2-bottle wine case turned on its side. Perfect size and shape for an MD shelving unit. Haven't measured it's total capacity. Plus my recent NH900 charging cradle didn't exist when this photo was taken

You can just make out my Sharp 722 on the left of the desk. For those who are interested those are Event TR8 studio monitors, and the units on the desk are my Samson C-Control sub-mixer and Roland XV5050 synth. The keyboard to the left is a MIDI controller. The rest of my gear is in my PC, including my Yamaha SW1000 sound/synth/fx card. You can make out some of my Aztec stuff on the wall above the desk.
