pili89146
I got involved in the McDonalds free music promotion a few months ago, and was introduced to the SonicStage software. I'm using SonicStage software version 2.1.01.06290, and can't do a whole lot with it. I wanted to be able to do something more than just listen to the music I downloaded from the Sony Connect Store on my computer, so I went out and purchased a NetMD player( model # MZ-N420D) In an effort to make a long story short, I want to use the SonicStge software to burn the music I've downloaded onto a CD-R. I've had NO SUCCESS in my efforts to do this, and Sony support has done everything BUT resolve my situation. I have a NON-SONY computer running WindowsXP, and using SonicStage software that came witht the Minidisc player I bought. I'd like someone to point in me in the right direction, or let me know of an available workaround to my little problem.
RichM
Officially in order to have CD writing in SonicStage you have a Vaio (there may be some other requirements aswell). However there was a SS build floating around that allowed CD writing on any PC, but I think that has vanished for good. But still this link may be of use if you don't mind messing in the registry: http://www.minidisct.com/forum/showthread....&threadid=21690
RichM
An addendum to my previous post. Sony support has done everything BUT resolve my situation.Generally the larger a company gets the less important an individual customer is to that company. However your configuration isn't officially supported (i.e. you cannot use Sony Support for help) so that's why they won't or can't help. pili89146
I wasn't able to get anything new to happen, in fact I couldn't even import that .reg file. I thank you for your help.
