mahn Posted September 14, 2004 Report Share Posted September 14, 2004 i got my MZ-S1 from my cousin and he didnt gave me the USB and software, but i download the software and bought a new USB mini B cable, when i was recording with sonicstage, its seems like recording but, when i play the MD there was no sound and when i turned the player off, the player displays a message blankdisc, so i thought it was a software problem, but when i tried recording using an optic cable from a friend, the same thing happen, during recording realtime i can hear the music playing, and it shows that it is recording, but when i turn off the player and turn it back on the player still display a blankdisc, but it can still play MD that i borrowed from my friend, can anybody pls help me, thanks in advance... Either the head itself is missing or bend up or the cable connecting the head to the electronics is broken. Methinks, it needs service.
