himder
Hi, I just got my MZ-NHF800, Hi-MD. Works pretty well ... except when I used SonicStage to transfer an mp3 file to my minidisc, it played back at least twice the speed. It was a radio talk show hosted by a baritone (and he sounded fine when I played the file on the computer), but the guy sounded like a chipmunk on the recorder. Any suggestions? Both files are 64 kbps. The one on my computer is 53 minutes (24 mb), and the one on the minidisc is 27 minutes (12 mb). What's going on? Thanks. Qwakrz
Could it be that the MP3 you have is a mono one? That would make sence if sonicstage cant detect the difference between Mono & Stereo and is feeding one sample to each channel at a time, thus making it play back twice as fast but not sound much different.
