Hello, One of my minidiscs, which has music I would very much like to keep, has been altered so that none of its contents are recognized by my MD players, and I don't know how to fix this. Here is what happened: I transferred some mp3s from my computer to the minidisc, using a program called SonicStage (ver. 1.5), with the minidisc in a MZ NE-440 player (or possibly MZ NE-410; I got the player used, and one of the digits is partly scratched off). Then, I ejected the minidisc and later inserted it back into the player. When I did this, the player simply read "BLANK", not recognizing any of the tracks on the MD, even though not all of the tracks had been transferred from the computer. Something seems to be happening during the transfer that erases essential information from the MD; I've repeated this process with other MDs and gotten the same result. However, I haven't given up hope that the data of the tracks on the initial MD is still there in some form, and I would greatly appreciate advice about how to recover this data, if it is at all possible. Please let me know if I can clarify my problem. Thanks, M.
