Thanks a lot! "I can see clearly now..."

Hi folks! Just received my new MZ-RH1 and while getting familiar with the machine I noticed a difference to my old MZ-N10 which is confusing me and I still couldn´t find the solution in the manual or on the device itself: The MZ-N10 you went through "Option - Rec-Posi" and you could determine whether to record "FROM HERE" or "FROM END". Then there was a button for END SEARCH, which was quite useful. What is the default recording policy of the MZ-RH1? From the actual position or always from the END? And how do you change this item? There is not a single word about that in the Manual... I will highly appreciate any answer or hint on the subject from people who have more experience with the MZ-RH1!
