Hello everyone! I bought a used Sony MD-R, model MZ-N1. It has a Sony gumstick NH14WM(A) battery. I can't seem to get the battery to charge, however I'm unsure if it's my dock, MD player, or the battery itself. I'd bank on the battery however I'd like to know for sure before buying another battery. When I put the battery in (the correct way) and attach the MD player to the dock and to an outlet, I move the MD button to CHG. The charge light does not light up. Similarly if I attach the AC adapter directly to the unit and move the button to CHG, the charge light does not light up. Any expertise here? Can I use the dry battery dock solo, and if so how much recording time will I get? Thanks -Jake
