  1. ta. i saw that post earlier, but none of the links work anymore (apart from one which seems to link to 'rapid share' a commercial website? i guess that means full installer for sonicstage 4.2 is going to be pretty hard to find?............
  2. okay thanks, does anyone have a link to a full installer for 4.2? i can only find the full installer for 4.3....
  3. hi, thanks. i installed 4.2 and it actually went through the whole install process successfully (or so it told me). previously when trying to install 4.3 it terminated mid-installation. so i was already celebrating, but when i try to open the installed sonic stage software, i'm getting the message again "cannot find the OpenMG Secure Module. exiting sonic stage" its strange, because this time with 4.2 i do actually some files installed relating to openMG, which i didn't find with my previous installation attempts. is there perhaps a way to install this OpenMG Secure Module separately? or is there something obvious i'm missing here? thanks
  4. hi. i've spent quite some time browsing the faq, and find quite a few references to my problem (albeit related to sonic stage 3.4 software, whilst i'm trying to install 4.3). installation just doesn't complete. it gets close to completion, but then gives me the message 'installation terminated'. if i try to run sonic stage, i receive the message: "cannot find the OpenMG Secure Module. Error code 00005607". it seems that the OpenMG software does not get installed in the original installation process. so i've followed instructions as to how to uninstall (conventional uninstall, plus manual deletion of installed files and regedit entries), and then reinstall, but the exact same problem occurs each time. just going round in circles! the only step i've not followed in instructions i've found in the faq's here, is to "open administrative tools and run windows installer". I have no such program in the admin tools folder in my control panel, so i don't quite understand this. (i'm running xp by the way). could anyone shed any light? some advice would be much appreciated, while i still have some hair left....
