I have not had any problems yet but to be honest I have hardly played around with to much.. My internet is working great and I like the new layout quite a lot. Pleased at the moment but would like to say again I really haven't tested it at all..

I may have mentioned I was having issues wth my vista compatability a few pages back. Having got very annoyed and after lots of stamping, I have finally upgraded to Windows 7 and all my connection problems have stop, it is very slightly slow when transfering a lot of information but it so much smoother than it was previously on my version of vista and it is not crashing... Hooray....

I may be getting confused but I think you just need to go in and play a song, as it is playing touch the album cover and go down or up the screen this will start the album covers spinning through vertically. Hope this helps.

I was wondering what the point of that Cackle site was, thought it was just me not getting it. Hopefully they will sort that at some point .....

Has anyone got any news of when there will be accessories avalible? In need of a screen protector and a good case would be fantastic. Any recommendations of which attachable speakers, to get a bluetooth adapters, would be really useful... I know but just do love my gadgets

Finally sorted ish, my tags were all in a complete mess and not quite there yet a few little loose ends to clear up, being using a free app Mp3tag, whih has been useful. Listened to my first podcast today and had a bit of a browse round Crackle and Podcast.com, they didn't make much sense to me, hope they are going to keep improving them. Keeping me amused on this not so sunny Saturday bank holiday.

Explorer often crashes with the message: "This device has stopped responding or become disconnected" if I transfer too many albums at once (although it doesn't seem too fussy about when it crashes!). I get this quite a bit too, but explorer is the best option still. It is getting better and better was having a great time with the You Tube feature in the pub last night Head is hurting a little this morning though. Still just trying to get my album art all sorted out on it... The noise cancellation is really amazing.

WMP seems to be the problemfor me, trying to just use explorer seems my best option... What is the media management software about that is really rubbish!! Still love it though the quality is fantastic.

Ok so have had a few days to play and overalll impressionis it is truelly a great piece of kit.... I totally agree with what everyone is saying about it the music quality is absolutely amazing, the screen is incredible. I love it... Little gripes are, I am having compatability problems with my Laptop, no idea why.. Every now and again my computer won't be able to see it, it crashes when transfering music, generally just a pain. But on my husbands slightly newer laptop it works like a breeze, so I think that is probably my computers problem not the x series. The browser is rubbish, but I can check facebook, if really needed you can write a email. It is a MP3 player after all and it does that perfectly. I love the Youtube future for a bit of fun. Can't wait to get a screen proctor and case. I am just hoping I can get these compatabillity problems sorted.. Haven't used the podcast facility yet or linked it up to my TV, more fun to be had

Sure will, first impressions are that it seems even smaller and sleeker than I could of imagined, very pretty. I really like the effect on the sides. I am going to a little upset if it doesn't record of the TV's......

So did I, I can't believe it, I have been scouring the Sony websites and can't find anything to suggest it has been released.... Trip down to my local Sony centre today I think. This all means it must be a matter of hours rather than weeks, surely.

I have to confess I ws literally just browsing the Apple on line store.. I totally agree, the browser is a big draw for me too. I think all the extra features like noise cancellation built in, OLED screen are wonderful but no decent browser, I am really going to have to reconsider. I was hoping that I would be able to use the Sony instead of taking a laptop when I travel for one or two nights with work. Although totally shamefully I am a gadget girl and the Apple apps are a tiny draw for me. Come on Sony give us some good news!!! I really don't want to follow the crowd and go for a Apple instead

I went to my local Sony store today and the said the 26th May was the date they had been given....... Someone should be getting a proper look at one soon surely.

This is going to be the longest wait for a birthday pressie ever..... Going give it till Mid April and then start maybe looking for alternatives... Just a properly confirmed date would be nice. Would also love someone to get their hands on one and review it, so all these questions can be properly answered.

I went into the Sony store in Worcester and they said the same, they expected it to arrive in April......

For me it is breaking the spell on many levels, for one it isn't made by Apple! The better technology, it does all I need at a better level is enough for me.

Hi Juli, I did see it, I hate to put a dampener on it, fingers crossed I really hope it is true, but Amazon are fairly likely to change their delivery dates...... I am really hoping Emailed Amazon about their picture said they would try to find a up to date image over the next week, that would be a great sign. If it was to be released fairly soon I would expect it to appear on Sony Style as well. Fingers and toes crossed though.

Hey, I am based down in Brighton, so it will be the UK release. I have been scouring the internet forums since Mid January as I was hoping it would arrive in time for my birthday in middle of Feb. Wishful thinking obviously!! I knew I wanted to upgrade my exsisting Creative MP3 and when I saw this it just looked brillant, even with the dandruff effect, which I do quite like. But there has been loads of dates banded around over loads of different sites. The earliest was the guys in the Sony store saying end of Feb, there has been quite a few mentions of Spring, I am guessing April-May and even some reports of June, or early summer!! I am just getting to excited and it is going to be a very delayed birthday pressie....
