  1. If I need to convert first in LP and then transfer in SP: that has no sense. Anyway, I will now continue in real-time. Thanks for the clarification.
  2. Indeed, yesterday I recorded again an MD. At the end, there were 6 seconds left. I pressed "stop" and my 6 seconds became 0 seconds left. Thanks for the clarification.
  3. In my collection of md's, there is a noisy 74'-TDK-disk. During playback or record you hear a repeatitive pattern. It's like the disk is hitting something every turn it makes. Keep the disk or throw it away? Gunnar W. - Belgium
  4. Hi, I have a disk that has "bad sectors" at the end. I hear blanks and if I want to re-record on the same area: the equipment displays "Recording problem" reaching the bad area. So I want to try to make a diskcopy (only the good tracks) and throw away the bad disk. Maybe it can work connecting two MDplayers by optical cable on my soundcard Terratec where the restriction on copycontrol can be disabled. I didn't try it out because my optical cable is too short. The question is: imagine that a digital transfer could work: Will I have the same audioquality on the target MD? Will there be no loss of quality by resampling? (note: I always use SP as recoding option) Gunnar W. - Belgium
  5. While recording an MD: for me it's the goal to use all the space. Remaining time 0'00" is just great! If NetMD says:: remaining time 3'30": it's not possible to transfer a track with a length of 3'30" or 3'29". It works only if I select something of 3'25". When I remove the track of 3'25", it's not possible to select another one of 3'25". It can work with one of 3'22". It seems that the MD is stealing seconds??? Yesterday, I recorded normally using the COAX entry. At the end, five seconds were left and there were filled automatically with an intro of a CD-track. I removed that five-second track and had the idea to end with a short jingle. After deleting the five seconds, the remaining time was -0'00". Where are my five seconds :-)? It's independent of the equipment. It's independent of the recording method. It's independent of the type (74'/80') and brant of the disc. Gunnar W. - Belgium
  6. I want to transfer from CD the Ben Liebrand Summer Mix to a MD. On the CD, this mix is continuously and devided in +/- 25 tracks. You don't hear blanks while listening to the CD. When I use Sonic Stage to transfer the audio: it generates small blanks before each track. Recording it normally using digital-coax: no problem. Independent of SonicStage version: I tried versions 1.5 / 2.0 / 2.3 and now 4 Independent of transfer methode: SP, LP2 Also tried to grab the tracks first with audiograbber (WAV) and transfer them with SonicStage. I even checked the WAV-files with CoolEdit: no blanks before the tracks. Independent of equipment: Sony or Aiwa. Does anyone have an idea how to eliminate those blanks? Gunnar W. - Belgium
