Hi. A solution that perfectly works with me: -If you have mp3´s or other codec , and are ripped correctly, you can use Nero (I use 6 serie) and create a music cd image. In Nero there is an option (in Properties) of removing gaps putting 20-30 frames (my experience: the best is 22-23 frames) of crossfade between songs. Burn the cd and then load the image in the Nero virtual drive. Go to SonicStage and import the cd image... Perfect gapless in a 99,5 % ;-) Sorry for my english... Regards from Spain.

The same problem. I noticed it when i were testing the gapless capacity; not only occurs with continuous tracks but with all. The player pauses and then turns off... At the beginning I were very disappointed but with my normal use of the player i have not had problems... Regards.

Hi all... and thanks for your replies. Yes, definitively a defective oled screen. Not only the "ghost" lines, too one or two lines not working in the "artist/album/song" scrolling when you´re navigating in the menus, so the capital letters and icons were incompleted. Back to my shop and waiting for replace... the nw-a3000 is a beautiful machine and no problems with SS CP. Best regards from Spain...

Hi from Spain. A paranoid question: I´ve bought a nw-a3000 and there are some mobile vertical lines in the "home menu". Is this normal?. Thanks.

Hi. No gapless for mp3´s?, what a pity ¡¡¡. Yes, i like more atrac, but i have tons of mp3´s and i don´t understand why Vaio has mp3 gapless and others from Sony haven´t. Un saudiño.

Hi and thanks. Some noticiable HD or other background noise during playback?. I remember one of my old Sony discmans with a very frustrating background noise ( "electronic birdies") in quiet passages and transitions. And the remote: I prefer no remote than a remote with no lcd. I´ll try my remotes with lcd. Cheers. Un saludo.

Hi all from Spain. Fantastic pics. I really like these players, specially in these pics. And the a3000 is smaller than i expected - those japanese girls and their small hands ;-) - but it would be perfect at least 1 cm shorter or a 40 gb hd in the same space. I think the ¿black? unit is very sexy. Well, they are not better, simply different than the hd´s ones. Something about the sound quality? mp3 gapless?. And the remote, i don´t see a lcd screen and, for me,this is a bad thing. Sorry for my english. Cheers. Un saludo.
