Ahh...yes!Shipping for a total weight of 20Kg to UK is out of the question... But we have no shortage of good technicians here... Can somebody ask for prices for the KMS-260B/J1N laser head and the HR 901 1-500-565-11 overhead light (especially the second,i have one spare for the first!)

Thank you both for your input! I have downloaded the service manual and guess what :there is a belt for loading/ejecting the mds. I hope it's only that! I will open it during weekend to search the insides (very carefully!).

Hi Sony comrades! My Sony deck presented a problem! Although it plays the md that is inside,it cannot eject it! It accepts the command,makes mechanical noises but cannot send it out! Anyone knows what could be the problem? Where can i download the service manual? I have kept a stock of lasers and blank mds to keep happy for years but someone told me recently that i also need to stock an "overhead light" What is this?What does it do?How soon does it wear out?Where can i find it? I know these are a handfull but you seem the right people to ask! Thanks!
