I would prefer a solution to where I can rip a retail CD to an image file (like .bin/.cue), and add CD-Text to it, so I can then burn to a CD-R, so I can transfer it to an MD in realtime with my CDP-CE525 CD changer/JB930 MD deck utilizing Control A-1 for titling. Why would I need to rip a CD to ATRAC lossless with Sonic Stage, if I ultimately want my CDs on CD-R with CD text?

Not all CDs have CD-Text in them. How would I add CD-Text data to Audio CDs that don't already have CD-Text data? I know the first step would be ripping to my PC (I want to transfer CDs with CD-Text data from my Sony CDP-CE525 CD changer to my JB930 MD deck via Control A-1). Preferably, a CD ripping program that supports CDDB to get album/track names so my resulting burned CDs have CD-Text data. Any reccomended software would be appreciated.

Anyone got some individual MD disc cases for sale or know where to get empty ones (other than eBay)? I just got an MD holder with 24 MD's, but none of the discs came with disc cases.

Well I do want gap less playback...I don't think an MP3 splitter will help with that

is it same or better quality audio to transfer FLAC files from a PC (via optical/coax) to my Mini disc recorder, versus going from CD deck to Mini disc recorder (via optical/coax)? Again, I have an MDS-JB930 recorder, and i record in SP.

I have some MP3 Trance sets that are 2 hours long each. I want to transfer them to my Hi-MD recorder in Hi-SP 256kbps onto 80min discs. Is it possible to set up SonicStage to add track markers (and hopefully Track names) at specific times in a single MP3?

PhillipeC, That sounds impressive. However, would using a Sony CD deck with Control-A1 connected to my JB930 MD recorder (to sync recording between CD and MD, and titling from CD's that support CD-Text) yield as good sound results?

So if I wanted to play FLAC files from my PC and output to my MD deck (I will record in SP), what software should I use?

Why wouldn't the JB930 work with the PCLK-MN10? If it really doesn't, I guess I will just with use a CD player with s-link/control-a1 or just output FLAC from my PCB and title MD's later using the JB930's keyboard port.

I guess I will just get a CD player with s-link/control-a1 and do it that way. Seems only 5-disc changers and jukebox CD changers have that feature. Anyone know of a Sony CD player single disc unit with s-link/control-a1?

Well I have a Sony MDS-JB930, and if I were to get a PCLK-MN10, what software would I use to play back CDs or FLAC so my MD's can be recorded with track names and such?

Thanks for the recommendation. What software is reccomended for playing FLAC files ? When I record to an ATRAC Type R deck, can I later take the SP recorded discs and do the titling with my Hi-MD portable through SonicStage? Or if I had the PCLK-MN10, would I be able to have my PC do titling while recording on my deck?

I am getting back into minidisc, and while I do have a Hi-MD portable (RH10). I actually prefer Special recordings I want to get a good Attack Type-R recorder deck. Iwant to use my PC to output sound to the MD's deck. What USB digital sound output interface should I get, and what software should I use to play back that can also enhance the sound?

I would like to see a multitrack recorder that uses Hi-MD discs. I would also like to see a USB data drive that was compatible with all versions of minidisc.
