    Yes line out from Mini Disc to Laptop.Watch your levels depends on how 'hot' you want your music to be Hot IE Push your levels to the limit without distorting the sound. Also you could try Audicity Software (Freeware) which is pretty good but depending on you experience of recording you could add various sweeting effects ie compression etc,etc. If you have little knowledge of recording then try various levels as you experiment with what you consider to be the best sound your ears will tell you that.
