  1. i didnt see the playlist button, because the rigth side was covered by the bar to transfer music to my device. I've never used sonic stage as a music player, and neither the program ipods use. My player is Foobar, which has a way easier and more intuitive interface (imo?). Also i've used winamps playlist with no problem at all. honestly, i think sonic stage is way slow, annoying and contraintuitive. And i've heard the same from other people to. Aaanyway, thanks a bunch for your help
  2. Ty for the reply. I must admit i dont know how to use playlist, sonic stage's interface is so fucked in my opinion. If anyone would care to explain to me how, exactly, to use the playlist i would be very gratefull. -Ralle
  3. I've just bought sonys NW-S705F, and i find the player itself, and the earbuds, and the sound quality just as good as expected. My problem lies in the fact that i cannot list the files like i want to (or perhaps i just dont know how to). I had a sonys NW*i dont remember the number, and the little plastic thingy fell off, so i cant see what model it is* but its 512 mb of space were starting to be a bit to small for me so i decided to upgrade. The old player had the possibillity of creating folders, and then dragging your songs around as you please inside sonic stage. When using the walkman, i could then change between the folders, making it easy to get the music i wanted. I see a similar feature in my new walkman, but this uses the albums as folders and doesnt give me any other way to organize my music. I only want a couple of songs from each CD, and then i wanna stuff the tracks from several cd's into the same folder named Elektronica, or rock, or whatever. But this seems impossible?! I've spent the most of my evening trying to find an alternative program that would do it, or finding some other clever way to do it. But i cant find anything. Can it be true that the only way to scroll trhough tracks is either alfabetically as they are sorted automatically, or switching from folder to folder? (or using the shuffle, but i wanna be able to get to the type of music im looking faster. When im tired i dont wanna suddenly bump into Heavy metal f. x.) This is killing me, and even though the player itself is great, im seriously thinking of returning it. Its quite possible that its just me overlooking something (oh god i hope so!), or perhaps there is a tweak out there that could help me. I sincerely hope you know what to do about this, because its driving me insane here. Thanks in advance, -Ralle
