Yes I had tried that to no avail. Happily the full install package for 4.3 I downloaded from ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/pub/Downloads/SO/...01198206-UN.exe uninstalled 4.1 and installed 4.3 all in one go with no problems. cheers!

Hi I've just purchased a NWS705 and installed Sonicstage 4.1 from the CD - all fine. I've also just downloaded the 4.3 upgrade but when I try to install in connects to the internet and gives a database error "you have already ready got 4.3 no need to install". Well I haven't got 4.3! I've tried uninstalling and cleaning registry etc. And even though 4.1 appears uninstalled, 4.3 refuses to install as it thinks it is already installed. Is there a full install distribution of 4.3 (like the 4.1 on the CD I have) I can download? (edited to add just found the links to 4.2 and 4.3 full installs here http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showt...18671&st=0) Or is there a way of nuking 4.1 completely so I can install 4.3 from scratch?
