I would, I think it's a great codec for radioshows and audiobooks

I've tried to transfer a HE-AAC file with Sonicstage 4.2 to my NW-A3000. No luck the file had to be converted... So I'm hoping on a firmware update which enables HE-AAC

I've just read on Audio T-board that Sonicstage 4.2 is available for download!

With the hack activated, my NWA3000 gives distortion when selecting the line-out (just a little bit, but noticeable). With "SP SET" switched back ON, the audio from the line-out is crystal clear...

In the manual (you can download it from download section) you can find how to remove the battery

thx! Another question: I know the A3000 plays ATRAC3 files gapless. What about wma, aac and mp3 files? I know the new iPod can play aac and mp3 gapless...

Just bought a silver NWA3000 for €150, I'm really happy with it (I'm coming from MD). I flashed it to version 3.00. Does some-one know how I can activate the clock as screensaver? thx
