if connect player is not ur choice (which it is the software for the player), then why not ss? they are headache for some people, but it does its exact job, which is transfer the music (bad experience for some users), u may get used to it who knows.....

SQ, design, just about any specification that u can think of for a player, sony has designed it right, well sure we know the complaint part about the software. i think in Asia region in particular in China and nearby regions, the influence of ipod is building, just like KFC, Macdonald and cola entered China few decades ago. I think Chinese buy ipod for a different reason compare to the Western consumers, unfortunately Chinese buy ipod because they want to chase whatever Americans are upto, not so much like a personal liking or they think it's really great, they can give up the tea for cocktail and vodaka. just some additional comment on this cultural aspect, hehe good thing for America's sell, kind of sad for China's social value.....guess i had too much of these kind of east west encounter discussion in uni lately, no intention on any racist comment

it's very subjective, we can even have different reviews on the SQ of a player or earphones, use whatever suits urself

some of us still need atrac, drag and drop is good, but it will be better to support both old and new users, at least they are planning, now they need to do it, put it into some kind of action

both lines of the NW-HD1,3,5 and NW-A DAP are stylish and smart, they maybe not 100% perfect from different taste or liking, after all we expect sony to give us some new DAP soon. Despite HDD or flash memory, sony is good at designing great SQ DAP, maybe the software part will get resolved as we read the news....well at least some change can take place.
