  1. Yep apparently 3.02 is not a security patch just like 3.01,both are intended to fix bug issues when playing two games(Jeanne D'Arc and PaRappa The Rapper). So this means that 3.02 has also been decrypted by DevHook. Here is the info as quoted from another source---> It appears as though today's 3.02 update does not include any revisions to system security, as evidenced by DevHook's successful emulation of 3.02. Sony's latest firmware is aimed solely at one game: PaRappa the Rapper, which is available in Japan only. Apparently, the downloadable levels simply don't work in 3.01 or 3.0, meaning this firmware upgrade is more of a patch than anything else.
  2. Sony Today have released another firmware patch for the PSP Ver.3.02,this is just what seems to be another security update in conjunction with the third firmware upgrade for the PS3 Ver.1.30.
  3. The downloads are now up and running via the playstation Network, I've downloaded Hot Shots Golf 2 myself and it seems to run pretty smooth. The file size was around 157MB including the license Key which will allow me share the game with five other PSP's. When you start the game up initially the screen size is a small and centered screen compared to the PSP's full screen aspect, but once in the game there are three different options for: Original(which is the small centered one) Normal(which is slightly bigger than original) Full Screen(which as you guessed is the full PSP screen, but it dose stretch the graphics) The following text is quoted from another web site. Sony Computer Entertainment today has released the first five PlayStation games for download via the PlayStation Store. Currently available for play on the PSP, CoolBoarders, Crash Bandicoot, Hot Shots Golf 2, Syphon Filter and Tekken 2 are on sale for $5.99 each. Though a PlayStation 3 is required to download the games, they can only be saved directly to a PSP and not temporarily stored on the PS3's hard drive. After purchase, two files are downloaded - the game file (which can be up to 600MB or so) and the license file, a small document that prevents illegal copying. A number of universal control schemes are available in each game, giving you the option of how to emulate the lack of the L2 and R2 buttons. Each configuration uses either the D-Pad or analog stick for inputting L2 and R2, either by using a directional press to trigger them or alt-shifting the PSP's L and R buttons. By default, each game's description on the PlayStation Store comes with this bit of text: "This title has been converted from the original PlayStation disc to the PSP system. Consequently, there may be times where the title plays differently from the PlayStation disc version, or where some features do not function properly. This version does not support PlayStation peripherals (Controller, Memory Card, Multitap, etc.), therefore functionality such as multiplayer, versus, and co-op modes will not be available."
  4. Hello, You should look for Asian PSP games as most of these have English, but just make sure that whatever game you are looking for has English before you commit to purchase.About where to buy I don't think I can name online shops here,do a google search for game importers for the PSP and you'll find plenty of options!I hope this helps you out.
  5. I'd just like the extra speed for other things, but knowing the ISP I'm using it could take awhile for them to upgrade their speeds.Plus where I live at the moment is monopolized by my ISP so right now I don't have many options
  6. Well here in Ireland I have 2mb download speed and 1mb upload. This costs 54 euro a month and with that I've got a 16Gb download allowance. But I want more speed than what I have at the moment.
  7. Yep I turned off the volume limiter yesterday and yes it worked really well.Although I don't think there is a need to hack the EQ settings,if you just set the EQ to none its the same as hacking it!!By the way I think I just lost my hearing in both ears.lol:)
