Annoying problem

Hi guys I had a similar problem. I'd done all the stuff in the instructions including the crucial backup of the directory right up to the Winamp stage, but then when I add songs that's when I have a problem. When I right click and send the songs, a "cpnnecting-do not disconnect" message comes up and after a while it stops, then the screen goes blank. When I disconnect it, having gone to "Safely Remove Hardware", I get the message "No songs detected. Use complaint software". I know what you're going to say, I must use Connect or Sonicstage, but Sonicstage failed in installation and therefore I'm using the plugin. So what could be the problem? I rip my songs as ".wav" to the player, could that be the problem?
2. Well let me point out some other details: -I did use the ml_sony.dll plugin with Winamp -Sonicstage is faulty in installation, it terminates having completed 20% of the installation/download -The music DID play, but only when hooked up via USB to the PC. So therefore what could be the problem?
3. Hi guys I have a slight problem with playback of copied music files on my Sony nwa-3000. Although I've ripped the music from CD to winamp, which works fine (confirmed by a playback test on the computer), and then from Winamp local media playlist in the media library to the player, apparently OK (as when I open up the player in /F: Removable Drive it shows the music I've copied), it actually is not OK. When you disconnect the player (having copied the music to it) the error message reads: "No database Found. Please connect compliant software and transfer information", "Insufficient information. Connect compliant software..." and those kinds of messages when you try to play music. It's a weird problem, I know, but can you guys help me PLEASE ASAP! ANY HELP APPRECIATED! THANKS!
