The new walkman is so ugly in reality. it lookes like soap and so nasty. I wouldn't buy it.

I think one shouldn't really compare the two, because iPod is more for young people, while Sony with it more expansive prices and more modest design for older people. Both have their audience.

Do you think the SonicStage software was better and these players shoud have been left with that as well? Are there any pluses for the CONNECT software?

This does not really make sense that they changed the name, because Sony were advertising so much the Walkman and now if they changed the name, many people would be confused and not sure if it is the same player they heard about and wanted to buy.

I have a few questions. 1. I heard the software in these players is poor, especially concerning the downloading of songs. 2. When the player transfers songs from mp3 and wma to Atrac, can they be transferred back into their original format. 3. Do you think the price will eventually drom, especially for Xmas?

Hey, you must like the NW 3000 very much. I actually think the design is very sexy, but I heard it has poor software. Since you have it, how do you assess it. could you please tell what are its advantages over other mp3 players and maybe even iPods? Thanks
