Just like mazinger, I was also wondering whether there is a way to change FM band frequency on my NW-A607 (Japanese version). Does anybody know? Any advice would be appreciated.

Damage, How do you make the cord tidy when you don't need entire length? Any tricks?

The files I've tried are ATRAC3 132kbps and ATRAC3plus 256kbps. By the way, I just tried converion (mp3 192kbps -> ATRAC3plus 192 kbps) and it worked fine. I'm using SS3.4.

Stuge, I think your comment is right. Either my SS3.4 is messed up or there are still many bugs to be cleaned up. I can transfer files (which I cannot play on SS3.4 due to missing rights information) to my NW-HD3, and they play just fine. This is a relief to me since I usually use NW-HD3 for listening. But, does it make any sense? DRM policy should not let me even transfer if I (=my pc) don't have rights, right?

Hi, I'm also having the same problem with SS3.4. Same error message as rajdeep02 & hawaii808 described above. But, this problem does not occur to all the files (albums) imported from CD's. I've noticed I can still play one album with no problem, yet the error message comes up when I try to play another album that I imported on the same day. I understand I might have no choice but to re-import, but does anybody know what causes this error? Could it be something I did (accidently deleting license data or something)? Any advice would be appreciated.

I got mine (misty white) from eBay last December, so far I'm happy with it. Fitting is pretty good although cut-out openings are not so clean in a few locations. As advertised, you have full access to all functions. What I like the most about it is no-slip grip in addition to surface protection. Convenient for use in a car or outdoors. I think it's a good buy. Just make sure you don't pay too much for it (after all, it's just a piece of silicone).

I tried reinstalling 2 versions of SS3.4 with no success. 1. Japanese Version Even with the edited installer (Thanks Ishiyoshi!), I was having difficutly. Installer kept stopping before completion. I could finish installing it only after I changed 'Language for non-Unicode programs' to Japanese in Control Panel. Anyway, I still got "Omgjbox.exe" error when I connected my NW-HD3 while SS3.4 was running. Also, most of the menu buttons were not legible (they show ????????). 2. Asia-Pacific Version Installation was easier, but the same error happens with AppLocale (after registry edit). No error without AppLocale, just like US Version. Finally, I tried to reinstalling Microsoft AppLocale, but it made no difference. So now I'm back to US Verion with AppLocale for Japanese. I just have to connect NW-HD3 to pc before I start up SS3.4 to avoid the error. So far, most of functions (importing from CD or files, title editing, transferring, and etc.)seem to be working fine. I guess I just have to live with it until someone figures out. Thanks for your support!!

Thanks Ishiyoshi! When I try to run SS Japanese Version Installer (downloaded from this forum), I get yet another error message "Cannot install with this Windows language (20993)". Can it be installed only on Japanese Windows?

Oops, sorry about not following the rules! OS: Windows XP Home Edition (Version 2002) with SP2 System: Intel Pentium 4 (2.80 GHz) with 480 MB of RAM Sonic Stage 3.4 US Version I tried reinstall per instruction with no success. The same error happens with every start up of SS 3.4. So far, I have found 2 ways to connect my NW-HD3: (1) Restart SS 3.4 with NW-HD3 still connected after it shuts down display the "Omgjbox.exe error" (2) Run SS 3.4 without AppLocale. I can connect NW-HD3 anytime with no error (now all my Japanese songs are illegible ) How can I fix this? Should I try SS 3.4 Japanese version (Can I ever install Japanese version on English Windows??)? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello all, I'm using SS 3.4 (US version) with Microsoft AppLocale (Japanese) per Ishiyoshi's instruction in "Titling ATRAC Files In Japanese/Chinese/Korean" thread. When I conncet NW-HD3 to it for transfer, error message pops up and SS 3.4 shuts down. The message reads "Omgjbox.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close..." I did not have any problem using SS 3.3 the same way. Is anyone experiencing similar problem? Is there any way to fix this? Any advice would be appreciated.

I have noticed similar problem(?) with a few MP3 files ripped @ VBR. When imported to SS3.3, they all show up as 128kbps. However, when played on my player (NW-HD3) individual track shows different bit rate such as 196kbps, 205kbps, 226kbps, or 231kbps. Funny thing to me is these bit rates on NW-HD3 do not even match the ones shown under properties of MP3 files I don't understand why or how this happens, but I have no problem playing them on my NW-HD3. Any insight would be appreciated.

I'm also having prblem creating Audio CD using SS3.3. Clicking on red button after adding tracks starts the process with no problem. Status Display in upper right corner shows "Transferring" and % progress grows. Once it hits 50%, display shows "Writing". However, this is as far as I get. "Writing" and "50%" just alternate in display and nothing happens even after 10-15 minutes. I tried slower speeds with no success. Has anybody experienced similar problem? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks again for your help, Stuge. One more question. Are "Transfer" button and "Delete" button the same thing?

Hello all, Do I have to transfer audio files BACK to pc (My Library in SonicStage) when I want to remove them from DAP? What happens if I just delete them or reformat hard drive of DAP? Would I mess up license rights or something? Any advice would be appreciated. Have a nice day!

How do you get Atrac3 plus? In my SS3.3, I only see Atrac & Atrac Advanced Lossless under CD Importing Format. Am I missing something? Any advice would be appreciated.
