at least thanks for your honesty . I hope someone has better news for me. I am out of warranty though so that aint gonna chear me up . anyone? I heard I should be able to recover some hard disk problems by getting the hard disk out my nw-hd3 put it in a sealed bag. and then for ceveral hours in de freezer? Is this true or gonna make things worse?

Dear atraclife members, I got a nw-hd3 player for a while now, I really loved the device untill recently . I am not sure what the cause is, but i am sure there is a way to fix it and that someone of u guys can help me! Here is how i'd describe the problem: Whenever I try to start my nw-hd3 ( by pressing the play button ( or any other ) ). I get the default walkman screen and a beep. then after 2 secs it starts a beep beat "-- -- --". and then it doesn't go any further it contineus with this beep and showing the welcome screen. anyone has any solution or an idea what the cause might be? yours sincerly, Remco van Grinsven.
