Sony has been historically very slow to offer firmware upgrades for their mp3 players. Seeing as how the older A81x & S61x series have never had firmware upgrades that include features like OTG playlists, I wouldn't hold my breath that a firmware upgrade is coming. It would be really nice-- but don't count on it ever happening.

I'm not sure how the screen size stacks up to other players like iPod, but this video has a comparision between the A820 & the A818: video of side by side A820 - A810 series Found that at the GenerationMP3 page that was in Stuge's post.

Hi, I've been a lurker here for quite a while, lots of good information here. I've decided to import an NW-A808 from Japan, because I need a player that can do on-the-fly playlists. My question is, will I be able to install the Japanese version of SonicStage & Image Converter 3 on my North American computer, and if so, can I change the programs language to english? If I can't, then should I download SonicStage from the Sony U.S. site? Does anyone else have any experience with an imported NW-A800 player? Thanks.
