Sony's Chile brought the NWZ-A828K here, but I think is rather expensive (US$ 225) for just 8GB. I know it sounds good and got a nice (and easy) GUI, but there is no better solution (more storage) for that price around ? To me bluetooth is useless, I prefer to go with quality, wired, and a lot more storage than bluetooth and a bt phones. Please, no ipod that crap trully sucks. I could get a Zune for $300, but currently I don't have an International CC. Gradius

I guess it was this one: http://www.atraclife.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4553 Btw, I'm after storage and SQ, since I want lossless quality at most, I'm careless about video, or anything else (except audio of course). FLAC would be perfect for me, but until now I don't know any device with good storage, and at least very good SQ + FLAC support + PORTABLE. HE-AAC sounds pretty good (I still didn't hear any real example myself of it thought), but is only available on japanese model, and the software refuses to works on a non-JP OS (sigh!). Gradius

How is the sound quality from Zune? Gradius

$350~$400 for just 16GB is wayyyy too much, when it should be USD$ 99 at MAX! What a ripoff! Gradius

Just hack Japanese.dll or the installer (setup.exe), and you done it. Gradius

Well, isn't hard at all to use it even in Japanese, at least to me. Now the SonicStageInstaller.exe (aka CP v4.4) is the problem, since is all in Japanese. Gradius

To discovery pin 1 is very easy, just get a multimeter and test for logic on pin 3 from WM-PORT and the other side of USB connector should make a "beep", if you heard it, so that is the pin 3 (on WM-PORT, the other 2 remaining are pin 2 and pin 1). Nope, I'm on Chile, but here comes a lot Japanese products, for example, Sony here brought us NW-A808, so I believe they will import NW-A82x as well, otherwise I'll just import directly from Japan (A829), since is the unit I want and I need. For japanese menu, I won't believe is just all in japanese, since today is simple to they to include at least english (besides japanese of course) on firmware. Gradius

800/810 does have it, but via WM-PORT. I have post the diagram, but for some unknow reason, admin or mod (?), deleted my post/msg. Those new NW-A82x does support ACC-HE/HE-ACC. Gradius

Sony should support FLAC already, is excelent, open source, free, and better, you can have drag & drop with it (not possible w/ ATRAC). Gradius

DAMN IT! I want 16GB NOW, it will be a real pain to wait until April. Btw, I'll go for NW-A829, not NWZ one. If someone manage to get the Service Manual, please, post it! Gradius
