Right. I got the NWA3000 for Christmas, took me the whole day to get it working. Connect installs on my pc, but freezes on the splash screen, weleft it running for 4 hours and no luck, on my dads *slower* laptop, it loaded within 20seconds!!! I do use sonicstage but i still don't like it much Is anyone making a 3rd party software release anytime soon? Or know of anyway to fix connect!? Thanks Sam

Right-I have HAD it with Connect/sonicstage! All i want to do, is put one 40meg album on my new player, and i've been waiting here for 5minutes after connect said it was loading! And now its not even appearing. God i hate it. I downloaded the new firmware and the software upgrade. Which took me ages to work out... Anyone know how to FIX connect? Or how to install the update properly? Thankyou!!

Problem solved! Cradle works fine. theres efectivley 2 usbs and i had them in the wrong way - Stupid me!!

I just got the connect update, will install it now. One more question. Does anyone know anything about the docking station?! When i plug it into the charger, then to the usb, windows doesnt pick it up as being connected, it is very annoying as it cost me £25!!!!

Well...1st things 1st. I have to say, I am VERY disapointed in sony! Opened my Christmas presents today, got the NWA3000, rushed upstairs to start transfering music...Ahhh! Not as easy as it sounds!!! What the hell is up with Connect!!? I think i have a pretty fast system, 2.8 P4, 512 meg of ram, but connect brought my pc down to a standstill! And i didnt even get any music on it! I then tried sonicstage through my dads reccomendation. then i realise. Ah. No WMA support on the NWA3000...Damn, all my 200 ripped cds are in WMA! Ah well, no harm, will just convert them all to atrac. But everytime i try copying a cd across it fails on one or 2 tracks, which is very annoying as most of my albums all interlinc between tracks, so theyall got muddled up. Can anyone give me a guide on how to get going? Is there any 3rd party software i can download? Cheers for your time. Sam
