Hi Folks, two questions: 1. Is there any possibility to export the ss playlist in the m3u file format? It´s important for me if I will change the music player or if I'll use my playlists with another software, winamp e.g. 2. Where in the database/files is saved the song rating? I look for a possibility to save this rating in an unused input field in the mp3-tag, comment e.g. Any Ideas? Thx a lot Marquis

hi, maybe a dumb question but I've to know how SS and the backup Tool is working.I guess that the SS Backup Tool save also the file directory, so that all the backup information is useless if I change the drive letter? on my hdd?! I've got a new hard disk drive and now I want to copy all my music to this new hard disk drive. After that I will delete my operating system and do a new installation. my process: save ss libary with backup tool copy all my music from old hdd to new hdd change drive letters, so that the new hdd will get the drive letter from the old hdd and vice versa format c: install new OS install SS restore ss libary Anyone habe experience with this? Does my process work? What do you think?? Thx Marquis

This feature is a joke, it is completely useless for me, I need sort by title, by artist, by import date, by file path and so on... Why there are so different views in my libary and in the atrac device window? Incomprehensible!! best regards Marquis

Hello, i´ve got a question. SS 4.0 is fast, that is good. But I´m wondering by the view options. It is correct that there are only two options to browse to the songs on the device, by playlist and by album sort by artist? That is poor, why there is no option to browse by title, by artist and so on? If you look for a song and don´t have name the album correct its very difficult to find it. best regards Marquis

Hi, I have a problem with my Sony. If I press the hold key or touch the device in the top area, if I took it out of my pocket for example, i´ ll get a noise in my right speaker :-( Anyone else have this problem? best regards Marquis

Oh Boy, you articulate what I´m thinking!! I consider seriously too, to give my gadget back (but it´s so fancy ) . It´s cheeky to release such a piece of software. Sony are japanese, the developers must do hara-kiri I´d like to know how many people are working on CP at the moment and when they planning to release a new update...

Hello, SS is definitely faster. But I have still two questions: 1: After transferring music to my nw a 1000 i got the message "please use supported software" or someething equal, this is no problem? The songs work definitely! 2. If I imported folders in SS and change these folders latter (copy songs from one to another, add new songs in these folders ) SS recognize it automaticlly?? Hi, I just phoned the Sony hardware customer support. They´ve never heared about the connect player problems, slow software, hanging up, no idea??? lol The call center agent told me that we can count on updates about bimonthly. Hi, it´s a pity, that the intelligent feautures won´t work, but if it´s only a temporary problem... poor for Sony but liveable for a short time. What do you mean with: Does the download won´t work? What kind of download do you mean? I will not be able to remove songs from the player or I can´t buy songs from the ConnectStore (they won´t ever see any cent from me ;-) ) If anybody knows which link is spoken to, please post it. Thanks for your answer! Do you really think Sony will be able to fix this problem? 7 minutes waiting to delete or upload some new songs is unacceptable. What are the alternatives? Anybody guess, that anyone will develop an winamp plugin? What speeks against and/or for Sonic Stage 3.3, work that? What is with GYM, can anybody recommend that way? Have itunes similar problems with huge libaries (60GB)? If not, i will take the ipod nano. Hello, i´ve got the Sony NW A 1000, nice device but the damn software connectplayer! I installed all the stuff correct (all updates) and it works fine, but only for some software starts. If it finished file importing (60GB) I close connect player and the next time the programme won´t start. I only see the little purple window and the small running bar and thats all :-( I have to close the programme with the task manager. Whats the problem? I´ve installed it 4 times yet and I loose my patience. Thanks!! best regards Marquis
