Just installed SonicStage 3.3 and it works a treat. No problems accessing Gracenote. Great. Another reason why not to use Connect Player. Regards, Kev

Ok thanks, looks like I might have to invest in broadband. Is there another way to extract CD info and import it into something like SS or CONNECT player?

I just have a basic dial-up connection and disabled the proxy connection. Still no joy though.

Stuge, I have disabled both the default XP firewall and Norton firewall and updated to the latest version of CONNECT Player, but still have the same problem. I am also using freeserve as my ISP (if that makes a difference?). thanks, Kev

Hello All, I have just purchased a NW-A608 and I keep getting an internal error message from the CONNECT Player software when it tries to access the Gracenote website. The message is "CDDB server can't be found". This is very annoying. Has anyone found a solution to it? I am running XP Home Edition with IE 6 and Norton Anti-virus. Any help much appreciated.
