Apologies if this is a repetition of previous questions but I can't find an answer in the forum. Since I got a new laptop, SS 4.0 won't connect to Gracenote. It asks me if I want to register, and when I click OK, nothing happens. The problem exists when connecting through both my home broadband and my work LAN. BUT... iTunes and Winmap both pick up Gracenote info on my computer, and I am able to get Gracenote to work on other PCs at work and at home, so I'm fairly certain it isn't a firewall issue, but an issue with this copy of SS 4.0. At the moment I'm ripping CDs in iTunes to get the song info, then importing the files into SS - bit of a pain. Any ideas gratefully received. Thanks

Got an A3000 for Xmas - first MP3 player ever owned, so naturally assumed the bundled Connect software would be most appropriate. After a week of agonising use (painfully slow to open and use; leaving gaps in library display; incapable of recognising audio CDs with any data content; full sync missing out albums/artists), I installed SonicStage 3.3, imported all my ATRAC files, and deleted Connect. Subsequently managed to achieve in 2 hours what I had been trying to do for 2 days (i.e. full and clean sync between PC and A3000). Everything about SonicStage is faster, more intuitive, and generally works as it should. If you buy an A1000/A3000, dont even open the Connect CD.

Not sure if anyone can help - have tried to register on Connect Store to get free download, but whatever I click to register just returns me to the home page and won't take me to registration screen. Any ideas? I don't have Sonic Stage - only Connect. Thanks
