My NW-A3000 was away for 2 weeks for a reparation (someone dropped it, artistlink button wasnt working, the rest was fine). Today I've got it back, and plugged it in. But Windows doesn't recognize the thing on USB. Nothing happens. The screen of the A3000 does say "Connecting", but the battery even stops loading after 2 seconds. I've tried it on a different computer and even initialized the disc. Any idea what might work? I'm really desperate!

meanwhile, I've got the player in my possession, I don't really see the big problems with CONNECT.. didnt try to transfer though, but it does a neat job just playing files

thanks man yes meanwhile I'm almost certain to buying one, I just figured this would give a more realistic overview of the problems with Connect player, since the people with no problems with CONNECT are less likely to post that on a forum in a thread, but should be so kind taking part of this poll..

Hey, I'm from Holland and really thinking about buying a silver NW-A3000 (black isnt available in Holland). But since I've read about much problems with the software, Because of that, I'm really hesitating. Is the Connect Player really that bad, or do problems only occur at some people? I'm really wondering if the problems are really that bad, or if they were solved with the upgrade. Thank you very much in advance for helping me out with advice. Ruben from the Netherlands
