Sony VAIO Pocket VGF-AP1L Pictorial

As it has been mentioned previously, this player displays the kanji characters in the Japanese language. So yeah, you could say it supports Traditional Chinese. -
One person on EBay has it: http://cgi.ebay.com/SONY-FUNBBIT-DANCING-I...1QQcmdZViewItem

Sure. Since I downloaded my game, I usually play on the nonranking servers such as WYD. WYD supports unlimited breath meter, and has its own ranks and stats on its website. My AIM sn: Maximum Spider X.

Hamasaki Ayumi's new single HEAVEN is coming out on 9/14. I am really digging it. It is the theme song of the new movie SHINOBI (live action movie ver of the anime Basilisk). Check it out ppl.

Woohoo thanks ppl. I haven't checked this place in a few weeks. I just turned 23, out of college, job hunting, and playing Guild Wars/Battlefield 2 everyday of the week.

I have been doing a stress test on the battery since yesterday. It lasted a tad short of 24 hours continuous playback on mp3 tracks of various bitrates from 128kbps to 320kbps with occasional check up on the screen. But after letting the battery drain completely, the player does a soft reset and will have to reset the clock and other settings. -

Anyone ever notice how after you lift it from the cradle and plug it right back in, the charging icon comes on for a good 30min? Same thing is happening with my laptop. I suppose this does not harm the battery life in anyway? -
So I suppose Simplified Chinese wouldn't work since Kanji uses traditional characters?

Hey, I have been wondering about the gapless playback. How do I enable or disable it? -

LOL, that's the smell of the genuine leather, and I love it! Aren't you bothered by the belt clip screw mechanism tho? -

That is why I avoid browsing the songs through any mode besides Groups, because I know my ID3 tags are unorganized. "Groups" listing is the exact way that you had your files in their respectives on your computer. -

That's because SonicStage had already grouped those songs for you according to their ID3 tags. What if a track in the album doesn't have the tag or a different tag cuz it was ripped by a different person? It will group that track to untitled or another album. If you wanna group them by your own groups, you have to import the individual files to the groups of your liking. -

With 3.1, I found that you can't import each individual folder. Instead, it scans your harddrive for files and sorts it according to the album names and whatnot in the songs' ID3 tags. Your only other option is to import individual files, and then create the folder yourself. IMO, it's best that you go back to ver 2.3 for its easiness in importing the folders that you had sorted on the computer. -
But then again, look at the past formats backed by Sony which had failed or never became popular (at least in the US): Betamax(superior to VHS), MD, memory stick, ATRAC.

In Ver 3.1, when I click to import folders, I wasn't given the option to import any folder of my choosing. Instead, it had to scan my whole drive and auto sorted the files according to their unorganized ID3 tags. I was wondering if 3.2 will allow me to import individual folders like the old ver 2.3? BTW Ishi, is that Mac or Windows with the Apple theme? If it's the latter, what theme program you use?

I hope that doesn't happen. The chances are pretty slim that Revolution will beat PS3 in the next console wars. That makes 3 failed/mediocre Nintendo home consoles in a row, which will very likely trigger Nintendo to throw the tower and pull a Sega. On the other hand, Xbox 1.5..ahem, I mean 2, is already looking doomed. I don't wanna live in a world where Sony monopolizes both the home and handheld console markets.

PSP is the clear winner over DS...hardware-wise. But if you really look at the upcoming titles, there are countless hits coming to DS. PSP, on the other hand, are getting ports and side-stories of the PS2 games. We wanna see original titles in the same league as Castlevania and Mario!

Will the Japanese version have option for other languages, such as English and Chinese? -

Hey Ishi, do you know if the Japanese firmware has the English language option, and will it work with English version of SS? I am thinking about flashing it to the J version simply for its sheer coolness and to give the player an import flavor. But I might need to revert back to the English language for referense during the case that I forget the use of each option. -

I have just received the PDair case in the mail today. It's not as amazing as ppl made it out to be. 2 major flaws: 1) The see-through part for the screen is empty...so it doesn't actually protect the screen. 2) the belt clip is screwed unto the case, but it's not nearly deep enough to secure it. I am gonna have to tighten it manually every 2 hours or so. I'd be even scared to ride a bike with this on my belt. New problem found with the player! When the earbud is plugged to the player along with the remote, I can hear a faint hiss noise when the player is off. 2 other guys I have talked to had also realized this. Is this some kind of current leakage that drains battery? -

Yeah, I am wondering how much would it cost to buy the cradle alone.
