  1. I must admit that I haven't tried listening to it while it's plugged into my PC via the USB (not sure why you'd want to, unless you're PC doesn't have speakers??), but using the supplied AC charger I haven't experienced any problems while it's connected to the mains.
  2. I've got the NW-A1000 and can confirm that you can listen to it while charging. It may be different on the 3000 (although I highly doubt it) but on the 1000 the menu is not accessable for about 5- 10 seconds after the charger is plugged in, but after that the main menu appears as normal. Have you upgraded to the newer firmware?
  3. Hi, sorry if this is question has already been asked, but a quick search didn't return the answer. As a new owner of a NW-A1000 I quickly discovered that Connect was awful and that SS was the better choice of the two (although 'better' is a very relative word...). Now, my question is whether or not SS has a feature similar to the tick boxes in iTunes? These are the boxes next to each song that you check if you DON'T want the song to be transferred to your iPod when you select auto transfer. As I've switched from an iPod to the NW, I want to use SS as the DB for all of my music and move away from iTunes, but with 10GB of music and only 6GB of space, I need a way to quickly tag songs that I don't want to be transferred onto my NW. Is there a quick and easy way to do this that I'm currently missing? The only way that I can think of at the moment is to create a 'Walkman Songs' playlist and fill this with all of the music that I want on the NW, and then update and transfer this when I want to add/ remove songs from the NW. Please tell me that there's an easier way! Thanks
