Hiya, As far as I understand it the modes available are play album, repeat album, play track, repeat track, shuffe tracks, shuffle tracks and repeat, play album then next album etc, finally play album and shuffle to a different album (not the next). I personally like the last one but it can be a bit strange going from Led Zeppelin to Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Hope this helps.

Hi In addition to using the power supply that came with my Pocket Vaio, I also use one that came with my Ipaq (it is more portable). Both seem to do the job and there have been no problems with charging. Hope this helps Karl

Hi, If you want to use the mp3 files directly without conversion you need to tell Sonicstage to NOT convert the files when transferring. Easiest way to change this is to click on the suitcase button on the transfer page (only active when the vaio is connected through the cradle), and changing the setting. Otherwise it will convert the file to an atrac version which can take a while. I should add that when transferring the files it will add a 'wrapper' to the mp3 file giving it an oma extenstion but it does not convert the file. I have mp3 files and the images/cover art work ok. If you want assign genre then the best way is to probably to do it in Sonicstage then when transferred they will be in genre's.

I thought the software was a tad bit quicker than before and I can now download album art from gracenote rather than get them from amazon. Overall an improvement. Now if only they could include some means of downloading podcasts directly....

When I upgraded mine last week there were no problems. If you are worried you can always backup the databse first using the Sonicstage Backup Tool. Then once installed if you have lost the database just restore the backup. It only backs up the music files and database, not the version of Sonicstage. Hope this helps
