I purchased the NWHD5 in the U.S. I went into the service menu and turned on the SP SET to limit the audio level when using earbuds (shure E5C). I am now using headphones. When I turn the SP SET to off and reboot the player it is still not at the audio levels it used to be. The frustraing thing is though that now when I am actually in the service menu it plays nice and loud in the head phones, but when I leave the service menu it turns the volume back down whether I have set the SP Set to on or off. I tried sonys help folks to no avail and the repair fee is a flat rate $107! Any help greatly appreciated Charlie
