Yeah, I live in Finland, ordered A-608 from Germany. I have also heard that because of some law in France they put a volume limiter in mp:s players they sell in Europe. France has never done any good for Europe... (joke)

Thank You Stuge for the answer; that was what I was afraid of, it´s a shame for Sony that the volume in this player is far too quiet even in it´s loudest setting.
