  1. I am new to sound. Are there certain specefications I should look for to ensure a good live recording?
  2. I am planning on using it primarily for live recordings. Most likely a lot of outdoor festivals, but some indoor things as well. I am a broke college student, so price is an issue, but sound is as well. Can anybody give me some suggestions for the best compromise. I'd really like to spend under a $100. Barbara
  3. Is there a consumer review difference; or is it just people's individual preferences? I mean is there any consumer review evidence that Sharp is better for live recording? Barbara
  4. I am new to MD. I am looking for something to record concerts, as well as research interviews. I will need to upload the files to a pc and change them into .wav and .mp3 files (the research interviews). My portable cd player just crapped out on me so I am thinking of also getting a MD player for general audio listening pleasure. Can anyone please tell me what I will need in order to transfer the files onto my computer, as well as what models I should keep my eye on? Thanks -Barbara
