  1. Anybody actually got MD recorders from these guys?
  2. Thanks for your comments, Volta. Well, I decided it was better to close the listing. I managed to return these discs to the shop, believe it or not. They were kind enough to give me back my money... and they've just received the other blue ones by the way. So that was nice of them. In the end I lost with the eBay fees (about AUD$1.50), but good experience anyway. That should teach me, among other things, to do more thorough searches! By the way, minidisc.au is a really good seller; supportive, friendly, good deals. Really good! On a similar note: I DO HAVE 74 min multi-coloured (or "colored") panasonic discs, packs of 5. I recently sold one on eBay. Any suggestions on these ones? I would wish to sell the lot so if you have any ideas, throw 'em in. As usual, I will appreciate your candor. Regards to all
  3. Thanks a lot, man. Yes, I thought that the only way to get honest feedback is to specifically ASK for it, so it is very appreciated. I did a bit of searching before putting up the auction and I missed that... and it's a dealer here in Australia to make thing more ironic!... (and the newer discs too) Doing the maths, if you get 10 of his discs you'd pay about US$62. You can get mine, in the US, with shipping for under US$57, and i can probably improve on that more... (but probably still too close to be competitive) Well, may have to do some rethinking about it... we'll see. Any more feedback/suggestions from anyone will be appreciated
  4. I have 2 packs of 5 Hi-MD discs that I want to sell. I bought too many after taking on a dealer "combo" offer. I've listed them on eBay (Australia), item # 5806401872 and will ship worldwide. They have a starting price of AUD$45.95, which is about: - US$ 36 - CAN$ 42 - GBP 19 - Euro 27 BONUS!: another disc if I get the amount I want. There's also a buy-it-now price. Postage worldwide is via air mail, insured, and a maximum of about US$25 I am actually considering now returning these discs, if I can, so will look into that very closely in the next 2 days. Including all costs, the cheapest EACH discs works out to be is no more than about US$6 / GBP 3.3 / Euro 5.1 ... and for the buy-it-now, about: US$7.5 / GBP 4 / Euro 5.8 In actual fact, if you're in the US, Canada or Asia/Pacific region, it will be slightly less I think they're a pretty good deal, therefore I would *greatly* apppreciate your feedback on this. And of course, I'll just be too happy to assit you if you're interested so don't hesitate to contact me!
  5. Don't think they will do international, but just ask... you might get lucky. http://www.cliveanthonys.com.au/ Fortnight: yes, 2 weeks
  6. The following Hi-MD units are for sale, brand new, at Clive Anthonys, Brisbane: -MZ-NH600: AUD$? (didn't check) -MZ-NH700: AUD$249 -MZ-NH800: AUD$299 -MZ-NH900: AUD$369 -MZ-NH1: AUD$599 The shop is actually the one in Mount Gravatt, on Logan Rd, and Blair is the man to talk to. Be sure you ask for him, since he really knows about these units (he gave me a lot of assistance). I asked two other people when he wasn't in and, well... they would have convinced me that they only had the 600 (because it's the only one in display). Blair's pretty switched on (and very friendly) so you'll get what you want if you ask him. Anyway, they have a few left in stock (3-4 of each?... last fortnight) and may be able to order more from the stock of their other stores. I presume they can do it interstate as well. I also want to give these guys a hand since they have given me outstanding customer service (and willing to price match $4.95 for the 1Gb discs) and that is something that I REALLY value!!... so I'd like for them to happilly sell their MD units and benefit other MD lovers like me.
  7. I use AdAware to get rid of malware, spyware and the sort. It doesn't seem to care about RealPlayer/RealOne... so I did some searching on the net. I found some places where it says that it IS spyware!. But then, why doesn't AdAware do anything?? I understand that AdAware is an excellent application to do what it does. I also read that the newer versions do not have spyware. (http://www.psychologyofvision.net/ubb/Forum9/HTML/000044.html) How can we know the truth for sure? (the MD plugin for RealOne Player is pretty good, although I prefer to use SimpleBurner coupled with M3U2SB and Daemon Tools... works great for me!)
