HI, does anyone know how to repair the mic input socket on a Sharp MS702? At the moment it half works. Only the left channel records (tried several different mics). I already had the casing open to try and fix it but the chasis didn't feel like it wanted to move to expose the socket to take a look. Any help appreciated p.s. if it is beyond repair is there some way making decent recordings by hooking up a mic through a pre-amp unit to the line in? any suggestions plz?
