Hi, I have a N707 and it doesn't seem to be charging my rechargable battery at all. I took my adaptor to my radio shack and they said the charger was outputting power. Can anyone tell me a couple of things: if you connect your charger w/out a battery does it do anything like turn on (mine doesn't)? if you connect your charger w/ a normal akaline batt does it try to recharge (ie does the batt picture look like its charging)? Mine doesn't do either. If it isn't my charger, im hoping its the battery as i don't want it to be the case that my N707 is screwed =o( (although all other functions work fine). Thanks for any help. BTW I put my rechargable batt and AC adaptor away for like 1.5 years cuz i never used it until now. I may have put it away originally cuz of the same problem above but i forget. -B
