Just picked up a MZ-NF610. I read through just about all the FAQ's on browsed through the forum before deciding to go with an MD player over flash based MP3 players. I've already loaded up the disc that came with it with a ton of tunes. I did search and couldn't find an answer to my question. It may seem stupid, but is it ok to leave the disc in the player for extended periods of time if it is going to remain idle? The reason I ask is that I will likely be using the player only on the weekends while cruising about on my motorcycle. Will leaving the disc in the unit for a week at a time between uses harm it in any way? Also...do all rechargable batteries have a shorter life then alkaline batteries (sine the rechargable provided by Sony has less then half the life of a standard alakline) when used in this layer? Thanks
