  1. My best friend had the MDX-CA680X installed in his second car...a Honda Civic. I love this head unit. Great sound. Cool Look. When I got my new car I wanted a new head unit. I had the Sony MDX-C5400X head unit for some time but I wanted something that had MDLP. I was debating about getting this head unit with a CD changer or a CD Head Unit with a MD Changer. I opted for the CDX-M850MP head unit with the MDX-66XLP changer. The only reason I didn't get the MDX-CA680X was because it only has 2 outs. I wanted a seperate subwoofer out. I am glad you are happy with your purchase. That is great price for a great headunit.
  2. I have had the same problem happen in both OpenMG and SonicStage. I have tried several things. I uninstalled and re-installed to no avail. The only thing that I have seen work is using the backup tool so hopefully you have backed up recently. I had over 20 gigs of music that was corrupt, unplayable and not transferable. I had to learn the hard way of using the back up tool very often (at least once a week or after recording a lot of new material). If you have backed up recently just use the back up tool to restore the files. Otherwise there is no other fix that I know of for this. Hopefully someone else has a better answer than me Open Ears = Open Minds Thee-O www.thee-o.com www.biohazardproductions.com
  3. Hi there, I also DJ and have used minidiscs to record my sets. The only thing you have to worry about is clipping. MD's as with all digital formats are pretty unforgiving with signal overload. When DJing, source material (CD's and Vinyl) can have different outputs so record low and then boost the Wav. file once you have it on your hard drive. If you do go this route I would suggest getting a good Monster cable (mini-jack to RCA) to use when hooking up the MD to your soundcard. But as suggested earlier...wait for Hi-MD. It should solve a lot of problems. Open Ears = Open Minds Thee-O www.thee-o.com www.biohazardproductions.com
