First time poster... and thanks for all the sticky info so far! I sing with a Barbershop chorus, and I'd like to record our (better) rehearsals and upload them to the chorus web site in MP3 format for members to listen to if they wish. According to Sony tech support, the software supplied with the units will allow digital upload to PC in either the raw format or ATRAC3 format depending on how it was recorded. The fellow I was talking to also said that the software would allow you to convert these proprietary formats to MP3 on the PC. I couldn't find confirmation of this latter statment (MP3 conversion) in any of the earlier posts, does anyone know if this is the case? It would make it very useful for us if true. Thanks, Ted
