Just got the MZ-NH700 and i had a MZ-R55 before that - same problem on both. On both machines u start it charging by pressing "Stop", so when i plug in and its says "Charging" i leave it - naturally, then i come back in a few hours and the screen is blank - its finished chargin yeh? - Not so when i press "stop" again it says "Charging" again - what the hell?! When does it stop charging - as in how do u know if the battery is full?

Sorry, DRM? Basically what i want to know is is it worth buying a Hi-Md unit if i wont be able to put anything on one of the discs becasue a message will pop up saying "This file is copyrighted you may not covert it to an ATRAC format" or something to that effect...?

THIS IS NOT A THREAD INVOKING PIRACY What i basically want to know is if i was to try and transfer a downloaded mp3 onto a "Hi-MD" minidisc will it transfer properly or have Sony built somehting into the software to stop this being possible?

I put an order in for the MZNF610 but Sony stopped making them so the order got cancelled, now i'm seeing this HiMD thing and thinking about waiting for it - hopefully it will be worth that wait. :smile:

The sony.co.uk website says they are available in June 2004 - ie now But on www.empire-direct.co.uk there is none of them.
