i knew you could do it with editing software, but I was hoping that it would do it on the fly. Normalizing my whole MP3 collection would be too difficult. I use the MD player on my motorcycle, and it's inconvienent to turn the volume up and down.

bummer - I have this in Winamp on a MP3 jukebox that I made and it is so nice. Especially when going between older songs and newer "EQ'd-to-the-max" songs.

Is there a way to normalize the volume on the NetMD. It's kinda a pain to have to turn the volume up and down when I have a compilation of different albums on one disc. I know you can do it ahead of time on the MP3s, but can the MD player do it on it's own?
