  1. Hi, does anyone know how I can use my PC to title tracks on my R900 (non NETMD) I've heard of rather expensive attachments to go between USB and optical in, but it would cost the same to get a cheap, used, entry level NETMD and use that. A friend says I might be able to get some software and then use his external soundcard - Creative Extigy which connects to my Laptop via USB. This has loads of inputs and outputs. Does anyone know if this is possible?
  2. Hi, I've just got an R35 off a friend and while it works perfectly when plugged into the mains, but I think there's a problem with the battery (LIP-12.) When plugged into the mains the symbol to show the battery charging on the dispaly does not come on and it does not charge. Is the symbol meant to be on when charging? Looking at the battery there is a little switch on it when can be in two positions, one showing a red sticker and the other covering it. What is this switch for? I've looked in the manual but it doesn't say much. Is there anyway of figuring out what the problem is? Is the battery the problem or the minidisc units ability to charge. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
  3. Does anyone know how to overcome the problem of a broken eject botton on a Sony R900? Is there some way I can open and close the machine without the need for the eject button and then perhaps put a band around the machine to stop it opening. Is the button just a catch that keeps the lid from popping open or does it have some electronic connection? Any ideas on how to solve the problem (preferably without throwing the machine away, as the eject button is the only thing wrong with it.)
  4. I've heard that the build of the N1 is not that great and after a year they develop problems. Also heard the R909 is a much better built unit which is more reliable. Does anyone have any opinions about these 2 machines and which is the more durable and more reliable. (exclude the N1's NET facility as a factor and just compare the units) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  5. Hi, I need to get hold of a AC power adapter/charger for the Sony MZ-R909 minidisc player. I am in the UK. Does anyone know of a generic adapter/charger that can be used with the MZ-R909 or do I have to buy Sony. Anyway, where can I get hold of one (shop or online, but must be for UK.) Thanks in advance.
